The Intronik STF is a professional metal detector designed to address a wide range of search tasks. Currently, it is rightfully considered one of the deepest among all ground metal detectors (MD). This Russian-made model efficiently filters out small metal debris and detects large iron objects at depths of up to 2.5 meters.
We will conduct a test to evaluate the capabilities of the Intronik's deep program. For our target, we will use a coin pot containing imperial coins weighing approximately 3 kilograms, with a diameter of about 15 cm and a height of 8 centimeters.
In the first stage of the test, we will check the detection depth of the coin pot by the Intronik. Initially, we placed the target at a depth of 70 centimeters. In the Deep Program (DP) mode, the metal detector gave a clear and powerful color signal. After increasing the depth to one meter, the device's readings became somewhat blurred—the audio signal predominantly black, while the hodograph indicated a colorful and valuable object. For comparison, we replaced the coin pot with an iron sledgehammer. At a depth of 70 centimeters with a wide swing of the MD coil, it showed an unequivocally black signal with loop-shaped hodographs.
In the next stage of the test, we complicated the search conditions. To do this, ceramic pieces, hot rocks, and small iron debris were sequentially placed over the coin pot. In the normal mode, it was not possible to see the target beneath the trash. Switching to the deep program allowed for a clear color signal to be received even with the coin pot at a depth of 70 centimeters. The combination of DP mode settings and advanced technologies enabled the Intronik metal detector to penetrate through pieces of burnt red ceramics, hot stones, and abundant iron trash.
